Description: A female in her 20s had a vitreous hemorrhage of occult origin and the fellow eye had an anomalous vessel projecting into the vitreous cavity - resembling a pre-retinal venous loop. This was noted in the peripheral retina without any signs of vasculitis or neovascularization. A pre-retinal venous loop is a congenital vascular abnormality of the retina which is usually asymptomatic, but it can rarely result in a vitreous hemorrhage.
