Description: 27 year old male patient presented with defective vision of both eyes since childhood ,best corrected visual acuity in the left eye of counting fingers at 2 meters and in the right eye counting finger close to face. Color photograph of left eye showing falciform fold involving the macula in which fovea is overthrown by the comet like fold, compromising vision significantly. Falciform folds are congenital tractional folds due to strong contractile forces and hyperextensibility of retina resulting in temporal dragging of macula and has a poor visual recovery even if treated
